when i saw this work i i i can't to give explain about this paint !
I especially like the non-flowing dress that fits her closely — diaphanous robes would never work well for flight! And the butterfly makes for a beautiful contrast to the hue of her dress. But what is most interesting is her holding her halo, as if it signifies a role she's allowed to step out of, at least for the length of her nap.
I'm not that partial to "angels" as a concept, mostly from my own lack of religion, and winged folk don't have to be put in that framework. Yet this suggests she actually has a life apart from those angelic tasks, and a distinct personality. Even God would find such creatures boring if they didn't.
